Welcome to the Lake Road PTA School Website and to our community of Parents, Teachers and Learners!
We are situated at the junction of Leopards Hill Road and Lake Road, in Woodlands Area of Lusaka, in Zambia as shown on our Sitemap web page.
Lake Road PTA School is a Self-Managing and non-profit making institution run by the Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) Board of Governors.
The School is the educational home to 840 pupils from nursery through to the twelfth grade pupils and 95 staff members.
Our website gives you a glimpse of the daily life at Lake Road PTA School. The teachers, administrators, and staff are committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for our pupils through the provision of the best learning opportunities for pupils.
Lake Road PTA School is known for its academic excellence. Our pupils have been top-performers in the national examinations at Grade 7, 9 and 12. The national examination ratings have placed our school among the top 10 in the country. Although we maintain admirable examination scores, we persistently seek ways in which we can improve.
At Lake Road PTA School we are extremely fortunate to have a highly involved and very supportive parent group. This dedicated group of parents work diligently to contribute and raise funds each year for the purpose of supporting our teachers and pupils in all phases of the schooling process. Our parents and families volunteer numerous hours to serve on the School Committees to ensure the School is meeting its learning goals as we strive to meet our motto of Education for Empowerment!
Lake Road PTA School offers a rich educational experience that combines academic, social, artistic, athletic and extra-curricular elements to help each child develop to his or her fullest potential. And, you will see many ways that parents can get involved too, as well as our many vehicles for communications.
Throughout this website you will find information about the School programmes, both academic and extracurricular, that set our Primary and Secondary schools apart from other educational institutions in Lusaka.
