REPLENISHMENT OF CLASSROOM FURNITURE
The School has embarked on a massive classroom infrastructure improvement and replenishment of classroom furniture.
The facelift in the acquisition of new furniture will be done in phases and we have started with procurement of desks and chairs for Nursery and Reception Classes.
It is our deliberate intention to be in tandem with the concept of Continuous Improvement and Total Quality Management (TQM) in all areas of our operations. .
OBITUARY
Dear Parents, Teachers, Pupils & all Staff. It's with deep sorrow that we wish to inform you all about the untimely passing on of our long serving and dedicated member of staff Mrs Harriet Kwalombota who died on Friday 15th june 2018. Burial was on Sunday 17/06/2018 at Memorial Park. Church Service was be held at Fairview New Apostolic Church on Joseph Mwila Road, Rhodes Park at 12:30hrs. MHSRIP. School Manager
Secondary School Interhouse Athletics Championships 2018
Secondary School held the Inter-House Athletics Championships 2018 at Lake Road PTA School on Friday 15th June 2018 during which Blue House emerged victorious with 484 points followed by Red House in the second place with 455 points and Green House in the third place with 437 points

Primary School Science Fair 2018
The Primary School had a Science Fair today 30 May 2018 held at the School. A Pupils demonstrated their diverse Projects with energy and awards of Certificates have been given to the Pupils for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions whilst certificates of participations will be processed in due course for everyone who participated.
Our Parents took time from their busy schedule and joined the School in interacting with the Pupils during the Projects presentations. We sincerely thank you the Parents who came through to give us support.

The Global Child Rights Online Platform Launch
Lake Road PTA School was part of the Global Child Rights Online Platform Launch by Honourable Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs at the same time Acting Minister of General Education on Wednesday 28 March 2018.
Our Head girl for the Primary School, Tutu Nabuzoka, with Dr Bodil Rasmussen, mentor for Zambia on Child Rights issues.
The Science Fair - Secondary School
The Secondary School had the Science Fair on 27th & 28th March 2018 at Lake Road PTA School. A number of the Pupils have received awards of Certificates for their Science Projects they showcased whilst the rest have been accorded the Certificates of participation.

The 2018 Collective Agreement Signing
Lake Road PTA School and the Basic Education Teachers Union of Zambia today 23rd March 2018 successfully signed the Collective Agreement of 1st April, 2018 to 31st March, 2019 for the improved Salaries / Wages and other conditions of Service for the Unionised workers at the signing ceremony held at the School.
Grade 12 pupils at the Canadian Career Fair
The Grade 12 pupils attended the Canadian Career Fair that was held at Radisson Blu Hotel on 13/02/2018 were they were introduced to various Universities and Colleges in Canada where they can go and study.
